Constantly growing demand for city logistics development |
Budapest, 26th February 2009
Citypoint9, a project developed by Convergence Capital, offers a constantly widening solution for the business community for city logistics demand, which has been strengthening for the past few years. The park is 85% leased at the moment and its third phase, building “C” with a total 9,100 sqm, will be completed in the second quarter of 2009. Similarly to previous phases, the smallest leasable warehouse unit will be 510 sqm, offices and other facilities will be developed entirely according to tenant requirements, said Csaba Dobos, industrial broker at the Budapest office of Colliers International.
The advisor has also mentioned two successful transactions concluded in Citypoint9 recently. After the contract was signed in 2008, New York-based corporation Nastasi & Associations Inc., involved in drywall-insulating / construction industry, will move into the park in March 2009. The company that will start operations in Hungary this spring signed a long-term contract for approx. 500 sqm of warehouse and 100 sqm of office space.
The other contract was signed in January 2009 with Roltechnik Hungária Kft., a manufacturer of shower cabins. This tenant leased two units also for long term - 920-sqm warehouse and 100 sqm of office space - in the soon-to-be-completed building “C” and will occupy the building in June 2009. Following the signature of the pre-lease contract, the company has already started its operation in Citypoint9 in January - temporarily in building “D”.
