Colliers International hires new full-time industrial broker |

The Hungarian office of Colliers International has strengthened its industrial real estate division by adding a new full-time broker, Roland Bogár, from October 2008. Bogár joined the company from CIB Bank where he worked as a representative in Corporate Client Financing in Budapest. Having graduated from International Business School our new colleague succeeded in the sphere of finances, customer relations as well as sales in his previous positions. He speaks English and German.
The dedicated Industrial Division of Colliers International has been the largest in the domestic market with 3 full-time brokers and 2 assistants but having expanded to 6 colleagues it has further increased its capacity. The Director of the Industrial Division, Tamás Beck considers the expansion even more timely because the agency has been given more and more complex projects from both developers and investors or banks. “The industrial real estate market has become very active this year. Almost two times more speculative development buildings have been completed (290,000 m2) in 2008 than last year and the area leased in the first half reached last year’s total amount (188,000 m2). There have been seven transactions over 10.000 m2 in the first half which is significant growth compared to 2007. Urban logistics parks close to the city centers are very successful; there have been numerous leases in these locations. Built-to-suit buildings still constitute only a small part of market activity.”. |
