Budapest, 10th July 2008
An international, pan-European meeting was organized for the second time, by the Hungarian office of Colliers International in Budapest and Visegrád, between 4th and 6th July. Following the two-day-long event held last year to establish a tradition, the main objective of this conference - where senior valuers of 13 countries shared their experiences this year - was to strengthen professional relationships,
János Hidasi, Director, Senior Valuer of Colliers Magyarország Kft. summarized the event.
The special guest of the meeting organized by Colliers Magyarország Kft. was IMMOEAST from Austria. Professionals from 13 countries altogether participated at the event – among the countries represented were Austria, Serbia, Slovakia, Romania, Holland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Switzerland, Poland and Croatia.
In terms of market capital value, the Vienna-based IMMOFINANZ, and its affiliated companies, IMMOEAST amongst them, are by far the largest real estate investment companies on the stock exchange in Eastern Europe.
As one of the determining international real estate agencies in the region, Colliers Magyarország Kft., started operations in Hungary in 1992, focusing especially on large and medium-sized companies.
János Hidasi, Director, Senior Valuer of Colliers Magyarország Kft. assesses the market situation stating the business attitude - including the professional attitude of the company as well as personal attitude of its staff - has substantially improved in the past 10 years. In contrast to numerous domestic and international examples, which focus on the individual broker point-of-view, they build teamwork and good team spirit. The meeting held in July points out that in addition to local tasks, the international real estate agency network also performs well in projects requiring global cooperation.
