The Új Buda Shopping Center was opened in December 2006, located at South Buda, the most populated district in Budapest. It has a high quality tenant mix, which makes it an ideal choice for the families in neighborhood of the center. By the feedbacks of the current tenants the center has closed a very successful year in 2008. The most obvious fact is, that by the end of 2008 nearly 100% of the leasable retail space was rented out. In December 2007 as the result of footfall counting it became evident that the center has 6.200 – 7.200 daily visitors. 750 free parking places are available for the visitors and the employees as well. The multifunctional first phase covers more tenant demand. Besides the groundfloor retail area, there are several office spaces that are available on the first floor with variable sizes. On the second floor of the center, there is an unique opportunity for entertainment and sport center and / or any other usage for multifunctional open space (i.e. call centre, language school) .
The upcoming developments in the immediate neighborhood requires the expansion of the Center. The second phase gives place for a few new retail areas, which will be occupied by international fashion retailers, that makes Új Buda Center a determinative junction point of the district.
